During my course of INTO Mason, I developed few academic products. The following links provide the details of my academic product. These documents serve as examples to my academic writing and other skills like management.
This document is about the academic requirements at GMU. The first document is the current academic Pathway progression requirements which I need to accomplish in order to progress and, the second document is about the courses which I have planed to register for the upcoming semesters.
Writing Samples
During my Pathway course, few academic writing assignments were assigned. Following are my writing samples from PROV 504 and EAP 508 courses.
- Annotated Disciplinary Resource List: This was a project of PROV 504 course. In this assignment, we were expected to find different professional organizations, publications and some peer reviewed journals on a current topic in our respective fields. This project helped me know the procedure to find publications and peer-reviewed journals. In addition to this, it also helped me to know what are the latest topics of discussion in my field of study. Click here to know more about the document.
- Conference Proposal: In EAP 508 course, the highest weightage (55%) is on MCP. In this project, we are going through some previous research journals on a current topic, making our own research plan, writing conference proposal, giving paper presentation and finally writing a literature review on one of the current topics in our field. My topic of literature review is “relation Between Quality of Service and Call Drop in Mobile Ad hoc Network”. After completing few steps mentioned above, I wrote a Conference Proposal on the literature review.
